Arlyssa Perdue
Acrylic Pour Artist
Is an acrylic pouring / mixed media artist from the Eastern Ontario, Canada.
She had always enjoyed art and painting but didn’t pursue it, until she went through very difficult times encountering medical issues where she almost lost the use of her right hand. Losing art permanently would have been like losing a limb to her. Through physical therapy and perseverance she got full use of her hand back. After this experience, she started painting every day and hasn't stopped since. Her art medium of choice: Acrylic Pouring. After her first pour she was hooked!
For her, pouring is about expressing one’s self with color and vibrancy. With the right mind set and determination, you never know what you can accomplish with pouring, and the beauty is, each pour is beautiful and unique. Arlyssa enjoys playing with her adventurous little boy, spending time with her many dogs, and winding down each night painting. Arlyssa resides on the south shore of beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada.
IRENE BEE KAIN
PAINTER -CREATIVE ARTS, DANCE, FASHION
Growing up in SF I was fortunate to have worked with several artists in different fields. Dance, Creative Arts and Fashion. As the years passed, I found that I really enjoyed creating jewelry, painting and redesigning clothes. As the years found me raising a family and overworking, I never stopped painting and creating my Art, even opening Recycled Soul for a small period back in the early 90's offering patchwork quilted baby throws, herbal remedy sachets and hand painted greeting cards to local boutiques, family & friends.
Now that I work less and the little one is grown I get to be an Artist full time. Taking a clue from the world around me I love to utilize what I see, architecture, flowers, color and form. From the beginning drawings and photographs to acrylics on canvas or board. X's, swirls, blues, pinks and golds are a common thread you will see.
You will notice I paint, love photography & sewing, creating my signature vibe in various enjoyable ways. I try to find a way to incorporate something unique into each art piece that I create, so make sure to take a closer look at the piece that grabs you, you may just find a bit of magic. - Irene
MiaLoopa
Oil - Abstract Expressionism and Still Life's.
Marwa Samir, or MiaLoopa as she likes to go by, is a self taught Egyptian born and native to Cairo artist that tangos with abstract expressionism, still life's, and some figurative work. She loves to use Oils because they are patient, moldable, and don't require commitement for a fews days, before they dry. Every single one of her brushstrokes carriers the weight of her convictions, the abstractness of her dark moods, and the jubilation of the hope she has for the future and her work. Expect MiaLoopa to be a well known name one day, like Van Gogh or Monet, her work has that potential.
